Bogota Chapter in New York

at JerichoIn October we were invited to the Annual Meeting of Architecture for Humanity chapters in New York City.

As part of the event we presented two of the projects that our chapter is developing and Matthew Silva invited us to develop a workshop with young people very interested in social development and participatory design at Jericho Middle School

The forum of the chapters was about fundraising, structure and composition and mission and objectives, finding enriching experiences in the different chapters and confirming the good work being done in Bogota with the network of volunteers working in different lines.

It raised some very interesting initiatives such as managing regional projects from Bogota, seeking to strengthen the Latin American network of chapters and create new chapters building on existing ones.

We welcome the projection for next year full of new projects and consolidating what we already have in development, generating new strategies and strengthening relationships with the private sector  and with government

December is a month quite active with projects in Antioquia, and implementing the "Colombia in action" strategy at a National level with 4 simultaneous interventions in Ibague, Sincelejo, Cali and Bogota in mid-month.

Many people have contacted us to join as volunteers and this project is ideal to join the action from individual knowledge to collectively build our country.

We invite you to be part of our projects, or to propose yours to be managed and thus support millions of Colombians who need our help.
